Facundo Leónidas Di Pietro (double bass)
Facundo Leónidas Di Pietro was born in Bahía Blanca, birthplace of maestro Carlos Di Sarli. He began his musical career at an early age and completed his formal double bass studies at the Conservatorio Superior de Música de la Ciudad de Buenos Aires.
During his career he has had experience in various symphony orchestras, tango and chamber music ensembles, such as the Orquesta Escuela de Tango Emilio Balcarce, conducted by maestro Víctor Lavallén, with whom he has performed twice at the Teatro Colón in Buenos Aires, as part of the celebration of the centenary of the birth of Astor Piazzolla, or the Gala Tango show company under the direction of Fabio Hager.
Since 2022 he lives in Europe, currently in Paris and continues his studies at the Conservatoire Edgar-Varèse, he regularly collaborates with different tango projects such as Fuego Sur, Teixido Siccardi Di Pietro, Guitarras de Buenos Aires.
