Listened to: Cuarteto Rotterdam: Yunta De Oro The CD discussions section must never be missing from a good tango blog. It is a very personal wish to recommend a current yet somewhat less well known CD. In 2007, Cuarteto Rotterdam recorded the CD entitled Yunta De Oro. Enchanting! I bought the CD after a live appearance by the group at a milonga (incidentally together with the first CD from 2005). I have never regretted that purchase. Cuarteto Rotterdam impresses the listener with musical precision in an extremely successful combination with sensual, almost lyrical music recital. And this CD is therefore a true enrichment! It is (almost) danceable without limitation, it is also a CD for the melancholy times at home when one reclines on the living room sofa with a glass of red wine after a milonga. Wonderful! This CD has accompanied me many times on my milonga travels to other cities. And on the way back home it always played in the car. Extremely relaxing.
